This term we are trying out a Guiding resource called ‘Aim Hi’ and are participating in lots of healthy activities. We are also planning a visit to Gorgie Farm Park and are hoping the weather stays dry so we can play games in the Meadows.

What do Rainbow Guides Do? Rainbows have fun! They meet in groups called units where they take part in all sorts of activities such as playing games, making things, listening to stories and singing songs. Rainbows have adventures, share and learn with each other.
Who can be a Rainbow? Rainbows are the youngest group of the Girl Guiding family, for girls aged 5-7. When girls turn 7 they usually go on to Brownies.
When do Rainbows meet? Rainbows meet for an hour once a week during the school term. We meet on Thursdays 5.45-6.45pm at Marchmont St Giles. There are also some occasional special Girl Guiding events or activities at weekends or during holidays.
