Communion

The Sacrament of Holy Communion is one of two sacraments which the Reformed Church celebrate. The other is Baptism. The Church around the world has may words for holy Communion, including The Lord's Supper, The eucharist, the mass amongst others.

Everyone is welcome to share and participate in the celebration of the Lord's Supper

Quarterly Celebration of Holy Communion
Holy Communion is celebrated on the last Sunday in January, June and October as well as on Easter Day.

The Celebration of Holy Communion takes place after the sermon, when the bread and wine are brought in by the Elders at that point in the service.

After Communion is served to the Elders and the Choir, the congregation is then served. A large communal cup called The Common Cup and bread for breaking and sharing are served to the first four pews in the centre of the Church and to the inward facing pews at the front.
